ready. set. go! it’s race day! fresh & fruity yogurt smoothies are the perfect energy boost to kickstart your day or pre-workout. this easypeasy peach banana smoothie & baked sweet oatmeal were just what i needed before my 10K race this morning. so delish.

blend well:
– 1.5 cups frozen peaches (sliced)
– 1 ripe banana, sliced into chunks
– 1.5 cups low-fat organic plain yogurt
– 1/3 cup skim or 1% milk
– 1 tsp honey

food pairing:
– smoothies go nicely with baked sweet oatmeal… check out the recipe from a previous yumyumyummers post.
